Ingredients
3 | thick slices Italian loaf bread |
1 | tablespoon butter |
2 | tablespoons pizza sauce |
¼ | cup shredded cheddar cheese |
¼ | cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
¼ | cup HORMEL® Mini pepperoni |
1 | tablespoon chopped red bell pepper |
1 | tablespoon chopped green bell pepper |
1 | tablespoon chopped green onion |
1 | tablespoon chopped parsley |
Directions
Heat broiler. Butter one slice of bread. Set aside.
On baking sheet, place remaining 2 slices bread. Watching carefully, broil to toast both sides of bread slices.
Top each toasted bread slice with 1 tablespoon pizza sauce, 2 tablespoon cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese, 2 tablespoons pepperoni, half the red bell peppers and half the green bell peppers.
Broil 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and pepperoni is bubbling. Broil buttered bread slice at the same time until toasted on both sides.
Remove cheese bread slices from baking sheet and place on plate. Sprinkle both bread slices with green onion and parsley. Stack together and top with buttered and toasted slice.
