Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron, owned by Hormel Foods Corporation, announced Sept. 12, 2017, that it has donated $10,000 to Barron Cupboard & Closet to fight hunger in the Barron community.
The Barron plant has donated funds to this organization since 2012.
“Our team is honored to join Cupboard & Closet to help support hunger relief in our area,” Chad Nisbit, Barron plant manager, said.
“I would like to thank our employees, whose dedication and hard work make it possible to help those in need. On behalf of Hormel Foods, we are excited to help do our part in making a difference.”
This is the seventh consecutive year Hormel Foods has given funds to its U.S. manufacturing facilities to share with nonprofits in their respective communities to fight hunger.
