Celebrity Chef Visits Austin High School, Honors Food and Nutrition Employees

In partnership with Hormel Foods, Celebrity Chef Carla Hall stopped by to spotlight the important role schools play in providing a food secure environment. She met with the cafeteria staff, taught students how to make her world-famous biscuits, hung out with the students during lunches, and helped serve a special meal to the cafeteria staff.

In addition to the school visits, Hormel Foods provided a special donation to both schools to purchase some of their wish-list items in their foodservice programs.
