Deli Market News
At this year’s IDDBA, I had the chance to talk to Nicole Glenn, Vice President of Marketing at Applegate Farms. I learned more about the company’s cheese line and how it’s working to elevate its products.
Nicole Glenn, Vice President of Marketing, Applegate“We have whole new elevated standards—so our new cheese-line is pasture-raised—it’s no antibiotics ever, it’s humanely raised, in terms of our Applegate high standards, as well as Non-GMO Project Verified,” Nicole shares with me, clueing me in to how the company is working to reintroduce its cheese-line into the market.
The line has several options, including Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Provolone, as well as new shredded options in a Mexican blend, Italian blend, and Medium Cheddar.
“We’re kind of rolling out everything,” Nicole tells me, explaining how excited the company is about the summer season as well as back-to-school season.
