As vice president of sales for the foodservice group, Lynn Egner oversees the foodservice sales force at Hormel Foods. In this capacity, she develops and implements the division’s strategic plan, compiles the annual operating budget, supervises the activities of new product development and pricing, and monitors the latest industry trends to ensure Hormel Foods maintains its strong presence in the foodservice arena.

Since joining Hormel Foods in 1997, Egner’s career with Hormel Foods has involved a focus on both the foodservice and retail industries. Her career path included serving as territory manager, account manager and area manager in our Foodservice division. In 2014, she was promoted to director of distributor trade development for Foodservice and relocated to our World Headquarters. Egner was named sales director of Deli in 2018, and assistant vice president of Retail Sales – West in 2022. She was named vice president for Retail Sales – West in 2023 and assumed her current position in 2025.

She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing.

Egner has a passion for helping to find an end for food insecurity especially in children. She volunteers for the Mower County Backpack Program and serves on the United Way of Mower County funding committee.
