Ohio Hunger Summit
A second forum to address hunger, the Ohio Hunger Summit, was held Oct. 29, 2007 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The summit brought together leaders of the for-profit, not-for-profit, religious, educational and legislative sectors to discuss the Ohio hunger issue and outline better solutions.
June 2007 CIES World Food Business Summit
On June 21, 2007, Hormel Foods Chairman, President and CEO presented at the CIES World Food Business Summit in Shanghai, China. The speech, titled “Food Safety in a Global Context,” addressed the growing problem of international food safety and offered ideas and examples for ensuring the safety of our global food supply.
